No rain!

Praise god that it has not rained since we began praying for it! It was cold and cloudy yesterday morning, but it did not rain!
Tomorrow, Saturday, we have our basketball tournament. We have 60 teams or 3-4 people signed up, so you can do the math on how many people we have there. Please continue to pray for no rain during the tournament and for the logistics to run well. Most importantly pray for opportunities to preach the gospel as we are not allowed to just preach it from up front.
More stories to follow soon.

Ps. As of right now we cannot upload pictures, but if webcam figure it out, they'll be up soon.

  1. The Lord is always gracious to answer prayer! We prayed for rain when we were there and received it. =) May the Lord give you ample opportunities to boldly preach the gospel during the tournament!

  3. We've been praying, so it was good to read that the rain has subsided. We will often look at the clock throughout the day, and wonder the team is doing at that moment. It always prompts us to pray. We will continue to pray for opportunities to share the glorious Gospel, and that hearts will be open to receive it. We will also pray for the tourney, and that things will run smoothly. It's great that so many have signed up.

BTW, I awakened to an email from Natalie, updating us about your time there. It was good to hear from her since I've been talking smack about her on FB (because we hadn't heard from her)! Now, I can write a more complimentary update about her. She knows I'm kidding, of course. But, it was good to read how God is working.

That's it from the Bay Area. The weather has been hot, and the A's still stink.

  4. Hey everybody! Glad to hear things are going well! Watch those clouds... they can unleash a deluge with little warning. Say hello to everyone for Jenny and me.
